Check the underlying infrastructure
If a URL is malicious, but its IP appears benign, this probably means that a shared infrastructure is being used, such as a CDN or reverse proxy. For example:

Use Case #2. Validating Threat Hunting Hypotheses
While working with a TI Report or an Interactive Sandbox analysis session, you notice that after downloading the payload, the malware established a C2 connection over the non-standard port 1337.
