A man in his 70s has been charged in connection with the investigation into the death of a woman in Co Laois. Adina Constantin, who was in her 50s, died following an assault at an apartment on Church Street in Portlaoise on Sunday afternoon. Ms Constantin had lived in Portlaoise for a number of years.
