The Trinidad and Tobago Cybersecurity Incident Response Team continues to build it’s cybersecurity capabilities through enhanced collaboration between government, regional organizations and international cybersecurity
institutions.
On August 28, 2026, The Honorable Minister of Homeland Security, Mr. Roger Alexander, met with Kerry-Ann Barrett, Chief of the Cybersecurity Section of the Organization of American States (OAS), to discuss ongoing efforts to enhance the country’s cybersecurity resilience and capacity.
The discussions highlighted the importance of continued cooperation in preparing Trinidad and Tobago to respond to increasingly complex digital threat landscapes.
