Brian Levey and Puja Jaspal join executive leadership team to help drive Proofpoint's next phase of global growth and innovation
SUNNYVALE, Calif. – September 8, 2026 – Proofpoint, Inc., a global leader in human and agent cybersecurity, today announced the appointments of Brian Levey as Chief Legal Officer and Puja Jaspal as Chief People Officer, adding two proven leaders to Proofpoint's executive team at a pivotal moment in the company's growth. Their appointments strengthen the leadership bench as Proofpoint scales globally, accelerates innovation, and redefines how organizations protect the connections between people, data, and AI.

Brian Levey
As Chief Legal Officer, Brian Levey will lead Proofpoint's global legal organization, including legal affairs, corporate governance, compliance, ethics, and related strategic functions. He will partner closely with Proofpoint’s executive leadership team and Board of Directors to support the company's growth strategy while enabling innovation, managing risk, and maintaining the trust of customers, employees, partners, and shareholders.
Levey brings more than 25 years of experience advising boards and executive teams and helping scale leading technology companies. Most recently, he served as Chief Business Affairs & Chief Legal Officer at Upwork, where he oversaw legal, compliance, public policy, and information security and helped lead the company through its successful initial public offering. Prior to Upwork, he spent more than 13 years at eBay Inc., where he played a key role in the company's growth and strategic transactions, including the acquisitions of PayPal, Skype, StubHub, Shopping.com, and GSI Commerce. Levey earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, and his A.B. in economics from Stanford University.

Puja Jaspal
As Chief People Officer, Puja Jaspal will lead Proofpoint's global people organization, overseeing talent strategy, employee experience, organizational development, and total rewards. She joins Proofpoint with more than 25 years of leadership experience building high-performing organizations across the technology, fintech, and consumer products industries.
Most recently, Jaspal served as Chief People Officer at Fastly, where she helped drive business transformation and align people and culture strategies to support the company's continued growth and profitability. Previously, she held senior leadership positions at Cisco, Visa, and Google where she led initiatives to strengthen organizational culture, develop leadership talent, and support business growth at a global scale.
